Surveys show over half of the auto show attendees are in the market to purchase a vehicle in
the next 12 months, almost ¾ said the show helped them in their decision, almost half added
brands to their consideration list, and 100% were hoping to see a brand that was not at the
show.
We realize that your ad groups are pushing you to buy advertising instead of spending your
money on a show that they get no commission on (imagine that). The big buzz word is “Digital.”
Advertising has never been so fragmented with all the options for streaming, etc. and a lot of
the most popular ways people consume their media is with an option to not have advertising
at all or has the ability to record the shows and fast forward past the advertising.
People that come to the auto show are there to see what you are trying to sell. They are not
just empty “impressions.” You may get pushback from some, but you would not have survived
in this industry without being able to handle a little pushback.
The impressions you get from the auto show are genuine. People post pics of them checking
out new cars and sharing them with their vast friends list.
So...the time is now to start having conversations with your manufacturer about having a strong
presence at the 2025 Atlanta International Auto Show.
